In order to help the victims from Typhoon Morakot, TVBS had a special Disaster Relief Event to raise money for relief efforts. Taiwanese celebrities, such as Barbie Hsu, Dee Hsu, Charles Chen, Pauline Lan, Lollipop, Choc7, Kevin Tsai, Zhang Yun Jing, Wu Chun, Aaron Yan, Coco Lee, Joe Chen, and Mike He, all participated in the event. These celebrities encouraged viewers to donate money in order to provide adequate help for the victims.
